I agree, but I would have used more opulent examples: ie flying by chartered corporate jet, exclusive country club memberships, etc, just to drive the point home about "out of touch"

Robin Hood would be a republican not a democrate. He took from the over taxing fat cat king Jon and gave back to the poor taxpayer, his subjects.

OBAMA LOVES THE POOR - That must explain why he keeps on creating so many of them!

OH CRY ME A RIVER - Andrew Schiff and Alan Dlugash.SHUT UP!!!

WILLARD M ROMNEY - “Corporations are people, my friend” “I’m not concerned about the very poor” "My job is to not worry about those people"

Obama The Elitist Hypocrite -

ENTITLEMENTS - Democrats pay the poor through entitlement programs the poor then go vote for the democratic candidates. Isn’t that the same thing as vote buying?

MITT ROMNEY - "I'm not concerned about the very poor."

WELCOME TO AMERICA - "Disperse your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free"

YOU JUST MIGHT BE A LIBERAL - if you sympathize with rich liberals who preach redistribution of everyone else's wealth!

LIBERAL DEFINITION: - When I have too much month at the end of your money

HERMAN CAIN - "If you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself." 9-9-9 "some poor people will pay more taxes."

I partly agree, but i would think those who lost everything and have to be on welfare now will blame the democrats and won't vote for them to regain their independency
terroraustralis - October 5, 2014, 6:32 pm
obstructionism might help the RINOs win the next election but it also causes harm to the economy and drives more people to welfare dependency, and people dependent on welfare are much more likely to vote democrat.
terroraustralis - October 5, 2014, 6:27 pm
true, but we have a congress and president who are committed to pissing away our tax dollars. if we cant stop them spending, the least we can do is make sure they spend it somewhere it will actually improve the economy.

in today's progressive slip and slide ride down the sh!tt#r. I think Rand Paul is more toward my inclinations these days

reagan was not a real conservative. Rinos would like to frame him that way. Reagan said he was a Democrat and the Democrats moved further to the left and left him behind. While there is truth to that, I believe JFK would be called a Staunch right-winger
fauxnews - January 4, 2014, 2:39 pm
Fair enough, mate. And if that is true, then you earned respect from me. Not because I care about that wanker Obama, but because a real conservative would never vote Romney. They need to go back to the roots of Reagan, not Beck or West. In any case, cheers
JGalt - January 4, 2014, 10:26 am
who says I bothered to vote for RMoney? maybe I believe in the 'throw the frog into boiling water' philosophy and voted for Obamanation
fauxnews - January 3, 2014, 11:48 pm
So you voted for evil, in any case, and he was definitely the lesser of the two candidates and the most watered down flip floppy conservative candidate in history...and that's why he and you lost. Tissue?
JGalt - January 3, 2014, 9:07 pm
nothing I ever said indicated he was a superior candidate. I pointed him out as the lesser of two evils.
fauxnews - January 3, 2014, 11:20 am
...because the best part of being libertarian is we can think for ourselves and support what's right, not what wins or votes or what talking points are put out for the day, mate. How did Romney work out for you btw,JGullible?
fauxnews - January 3, 2014, 11:18 am
Oh,Ron isn't the Reagan of the RINO movt. And real libertarians don't match in step like RINOS do (ahem, like supporting Romney even if voting for liberal moderate like him pretending to GOP in hopes of winning betrays their party platforms)...
fauxnews - January 3, 2014, 11:16 am
FAIL. Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, Coulter... all drags who resort to name calling. Same on both sides, mate. To quote Steve Martin,"You're delusion, but you wouldn't know, now would you?" I resort to calling you out,JDolt, because you are a RINO hypocrite.
JGalt - January 3, 2014, 6:26 am
policies mostly. Lets call you a LINO- libertarian in name only, as you definitely don't line up with Rand or Ron on most of the issues you've defended here.
JGalt - January 3, 2014, 6:25 am
well, in the words of Steve Martin- e***xcussssssssssse Meeee. Liberals usually resort to name calling. You are really an underinformed libertarian if you resort to name-calling immediately when you don't agree with someone... and side with liberal
fauxnews - January 3, 2014, 12:21 am
Nah, first mistake you made was to call me a liberal. Im libertarian. Second mistake you made, a**uming that people can't see past lame attempts at division creating politics. Like em or not, libs are Americans too, mate. Love it or leave it.
JGalt - January 2, 2014, 11:52 pm
actually OTC offered a possible explanation, you are the one who immediately resorts to insult rather than discussion. pathetic how liberals project their deficiencies so easily upon others
fauxnews - January 2, 2014, 6:06 pm
*yawn* Nah, Im just calling you out on your sociopathic behavior, sock. Typical troll, "peace" doesn't mean giving you permission to troll..especially when your attempt to pretend to be something other than you are is fooling no one, the least of all, you

fauxnews - January 1, 2014, 1:11 pm

Raising the minimum wage is passed along to the consumer at a time when the cost of living is already high. The last time it was raised, my lunch went from $6.40 to about $7.45.

if you google minimum wage impact on state budget you might find that state budgets are impacted more than you would think.
StoneTools - April 25, 2013, 8:05 am
Here's an interesting article on the negative impact of minimum wage: http://www.downsizinggovernment.org/labor/negative-effects-minimum-wage-laws
Renza - April 25, 2013, 7:45 am
However, a higher minimum wage will also stimulate the economy by increasing the monitary flow coming from the individuals who would benefit from it.
Renza - April 25, 2013, 7:44 am
Somehow I doubt many states are actually paying any of their state employees minimum wage... Also, that free school money isn't necessarily as free or accessible as you may think. You're right about probable impact on small business though.
StoneTools - April 24, 2013, 11:17 pm
they don't take advantage of the free school money from Uncle Sam (pell grants) or scholarships.
StoneTools - April 24, 2013, 11:16 pm
There's a lot of collateral damage from raising the minimum wage. Prices go up in the restaurants, etc. Some small businesses go under. States have to raise more in taxes to pay the higher wages. It's not just a matter of someone not making enough because
Rudedog - April 24, 2013, 8:59 pm
Small business is the whipping boy for democratic idealism and republican greed. The real fuel of economic stability will be strangled from both sides.
